Hamburgers Diane
- 2 lb. 90% lean ground beef
- 2 tsp. seasoned salt
- 2 tsp. seasoned pepper
- 4 Tbsp. butter (divided use)
- 2 Tbsp. oil
- 2 Tbsp. prepared brown mustard or Dijon
- 2 Tbsp. lemon juice
- 1 Tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 c. parsley
- Lightly mix ground beef, salt and pepper.
- Shape into 6 large patties 1-inch thick.
- Melt 2 tablespoons butter in large, heavy skillet. Remove from heat. Blend in oil and mustard.
- Return to heat.
- Saute burgers over medium heat 4 minutes for rare; remove and keep warm. Do not drain drippings. Stir lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce and remaining butter into skillet.
- Stir over low heat until well blended with drippings. Stir in parsley. Spoon over meat. Serve with buttered poppy seed noodles, French-cut green beans and fresh fruit.
