Chocolate Nut Crumb Cake

  1. While melting 1/3 cup of chocolate chips, grease and flour a 13 x 9-inch pan.
  2. Combine graham cracker crumbs and melted butter. Stir in pecans and 2/3 cup of chocolate chips.
  3. Combine flour with soda and salt.
  4. Cream the butter in a large bowl.
  5. Gradually add sugar; cream until light and fluffy.
  6. Add eggs, one at
  7. a time, beating after each addition.
  8. Blend in melted chocolate and vanilla.
  9. At low speed, add dry ingredients, alternating with buttermilk.
  10. Mix well after each addition.
  11. Sprinkle with crumbs and bake at 375u0b0 for 30 to 40 minutes until cake springs back when touched in center.
  12. Can be served with whipped cream.
