Tortilla Stackup

  1. Preheat oven to 400u0b0.
  2. Butter 2 (8-inch) round cake pans. Place 1 tortilla in each pan.
  3. Combine cheeses.
  4. Sprinkle 2/3 cup cheese over each tortilla.
  5. Top with generous tablespoon of green onion and chilies.
  6. Repeat until there are 4 layers in each pan. Top with fifth tortilla. (Can be stacked as much as a day ahead and baked before serving.) Bake stacks, uncovered, for 20 minutes or until tops are lightly browned.
  7. Let cool 5 minutes.
  8. Invert serving platter over pan.
  9. Carefully flip and turn stackup onto platter.
  10. Repeat with second pan.
  11. Cut each stack into wedges. Garnish each platter with garden salsa and sour cream.
