Chocolate Dream Pie
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 1 c. powdered sugar
- 1 c. chopped pecans
- 2 pkg. instant chocolate pudding
- 1 c. Cool Whip
- 1 stick margarine
- 1 c. unsifted flour
- 1 c. Cool Whip
- 3 c. cold milk
- slivered almonds
- Blend margarine, flour and pecans well.
- Press into a 9 x 13-inch baking pan.
- Bake in preheated 350u0b0 oven for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Cool completely.
- Blend cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- Fold in Cool Whip; spread over crust.
- Mix small packages of instant pudding and milk; chill for about 5 minutes.
- Spread over cream cheese mixture, spreading carefully to make smooth layer.
- Do not stir.
- Spoon Cool Whip on top of chocolate layer. Garnish with almonds.
- Cover and refrigerate until serving time.
