Kahlua Cake
- 1 Duncan Hines golden butter cake mix
- 4 eggs
- 1 c. sour cream
- 1 (3 3/4 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding
- 3/4 c. vegetable oil
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1/3 c. (scant) Kahlua
- 3/4 c. chopped pecans
- Preheat oven to 350u0b0.
- Put cake mix in bowl.
- Add eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition.
- Add sour cream, pudding mix, oil and vanilla.
- Mix well.
- Divide batter in half.
- To one half, add brown sugar, Kahlua and pecans.
- In a greased Bundt pan, place half of pecan mixture, then all of plain mixture, then remaining half of pecan mixture.
- Run knife through batter to marbleize slightly.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for one hour and fifteen minutes. Use any kind of glaze such as coffee glaze or buttermilk glaze. Makes a dense, rich, flavorful dessert or coffee cake.
