Flank Steak With Whiskey Sauce(Low-Fat)
- 1/4 c. teriyaki sauce
- 4 garlic cloves, minced and divided
- 2 tsp. each: red wine vinegar and Worcestershire sauce
- 1/8 tsp. hot sauce
- 15 oz. beef flank steak
- 1 Tbsp. plus 1 tsp. margarine
- 1/4 c. minced onion
- 1/3 c. plus 2 tsp. whiskey
- 2 tsp. each: Dijon style mustard and cornstarch
- 1 c. canned ready to serve beef broth
- 2 tsp. chopped fresh parsley
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- watercress sprigs (for garnish)
- In medium glass or stainless steel bowl, combine teriyaki sauce, 1 1/2 teaspoons garlic, the vinegar, Worcestershire sauce and hot sauce.
- Add steak; turn several times to coat.
- Cover with plastic wrap.
- Refrigerate overnight or at least 30 minutes.
