Fig, Ham, And Ricotta Pizza
- 12 ounces refrigerated fresh pizza dough
- 3/4 cup part-skim ricotta cheese
- 1/3 cup reduced-fat sour cream
- 2 tablespoons half-and-half
- 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- Parchment paper
- 1 teaspoon olive oil
- 5 fresh figs, quartered
- 1/3 cup sliced red onion
- 2 ounces chopped lower-sodium sliced ham
- 1 teaspoon fresh thyme leaves
- 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 2 teaspoons balsamic glaze
- Place a pizza stone in oven; preheat to 500u0b0. Let pizza dough stand at room temperature for 30 minutes. Combine ricotta cheese, sour cream, half-and-half, 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt, and 1/8 teaspoon black pepper in a bowl. Flour a sheet of parchment paper. Working on parchment, stretch dough into an 11-inch circle. Brush with olive oil. Spread ricotta mixture over dough, leaving a 1/2-inch border. Top with figs, onion, and ham. Slide onto a pizza peel, then onto pizza stone in oven. Bake 12 minutes. Sprinkle with fresh thyme leaves, 1/8 teaspoon kosher salt, and 1/8 teaspoon black pepper. Drizzle with balsamic glaze.
