Soccer Cake
- 1 bag SNICKERS(R) Brand Miniatures
- 2 bags M&M'S(R) Brand Milk Chocolate Candies
- 1 16-oz. box pound cake mix
- 1 16-oz. can vanilla frosting
- 2-quart Pyrex mixing bowl
- Printable templates
- Prep time: 20 min.
- Baking time: 30 min.
- Decoration time: 30-45 min.
- Unwrap the SNICKERS(R) Brand Miniatures and chop them. Prepare the cake mix according to the directions on the package. Fold the candy into the batter, transfer to the Pyrex mixing bowl, and bake in a preheated 350-degree oven for 30 minutes.
- Once cooled, remove the cake from the bowl and place it on a platter, flat side down. Spread the cake with the vanilla frosting.
- To create the cake's black and white pattern:
- Trace an outline of the pentagon pattern with the tip of a knife on top of the cake, then outline this shape using brown M&M'S(R) Brand Milk Chocolate Candies.
- Fill in the pentagon shape with brown M&M'S(R) Brand Milk Chocolate Candies.
- Place 3 brown M&M'S(R) Brand Milk Chocolate Candies in a straight line, like a spider, radiating out from each point of the pentagon as shown in the picture.
- Use the pattern to outline pentagons at the end of each of these lines, and fill them in with brown M&M'S(R) Brand Milk Chocolate Candies.
- 1/3 cup shredded coconut
- Green food coloring
- Large resealable plastic bag
- What to do:
- Put the coconut in the plastic bag with a drop of green food coloring. Close the bag and shake the coconut until it turns green.
- Once the cake is completely finished, rim the edge with the colored coconut.
