Choice Lasagna
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 lb. ground pork
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 lb. Mozzarella cheese
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 2 Tbsp. parsley flakes
- 1 Tbsp. basil
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1 can stewed tomatoes
- 1 can tomato soup
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. lasagna noodles
- 3 c. large curd cottage cheese
- 2 eggs, beaten
- Brown meat; add garlic, one tablespoon parsley, basil, 1 teaspoon salt, tomatoes and tomato soup.
- Simmer 1 hour, stirring occasionally.
- Cook noodles according to instructions.
- Combine cottage cheese, eggs, 1 teaspoon salt, pepper, 1 tablespoon parsley and Parmesan cheese.
- Place layer of noodles in greased casserole; add layer of meat-tomato mixture, layer of cottage cheese mixture and sprinkle with Mozzarella.
- Repeat layers; sprinkle Mozzarella on top.
- Bake at 375u0b0 for 30 minutes.
- Makes 10 servings.
