Swedish Meat Balls
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1/2 lb. ground pork or veal
- 1/2 c. minced onion
- 3/4 c. fine bread crumbs
- 1 Tbsp. minced parsley
- 1 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1 egg
- 1/2 c.milk
- 1/4 c. flour
- 1 tsp. paprika
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/8 tsp. pepper
- 2 c. boiling water
- 3/4 c. sour cream
- Mix well the first 10 ingredients.
- Shape into balls the size of a walnut.
- Brown in fat or oil.
- Remove meat, then stir into oil the flour, paprika, salt and pepper, then stir in boiling water and sour cream.
- Return meatballs to gravy.
- Cook for 15 to 20 minutes.
- Makes 6 to 8 servings.
