Special Holiday Jello
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. strawberry Jell-O
- 1 1/2 c. boiling water
- 1 large pkg. frozen strawberries
- 1 (8 oz.) pkg. sour cream (room temperature)
- 12 extra large strawberries with stems or 16 large strawberries without stems
- 3 sq. (3 oz.) semi-sweet chocolate or chocolate-flavored candy coating
- 3 oz. white baking pieces with cocoa butter or vanilla-flavored candy coating
- powdered sugar
- unsweetened cocoa powder
- Rinse strawberries; pat dry.
- Leave caps and stems (if present) intact.
- With a sharp knife, make 4 or 5 slices in each berry from tip end almost to, but not through, cap.
- Gently fan out berry as far as possible.
- (Stem end of berry should remain intact.)
