Vegetarian Chili Dogs
- Cooking spray
- 4 frozen low-fat vegetarian hot dogs, thawed
- 1 (15-ounce) can 99%-fat-free vegetarian chili with beans
- 4 teaspoons spicy brown mustard
- 4 lite wheat hot dog buns, toasted
- 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
- 1/2 cup (2 ounces) pre-shredded reduced-fat sharp Cheddar cheese
- Place a large nonstick skillet coated with cooking spray over medium heat. Add hot dogs, and cook until evenly browned, turning frequently. Pour chili into a small saucepan; cook over medium heat until bubbly.
- Pour chili into a small saucepan; cook over medium heat until bubbly.
- Spread 1 teaspoon mustard over inside of each hot dog bun. Place hot dogs in buns; spoon chili evenly over each hot dog. Sprinkle 1 tablespoon onion and 2 tablespoons cheese over each hot dog.
