Sheila'S Sticky Buns(Servings: 4)
- 1/2 c. margarine
- 1/2 c. chopped nuts
- 1 c. firmly packed brown sugar
- 2 Tbsp. water
- 2 (10 oz.) cans biscuits
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- Preheat oven at 375u0b0.
- Coat sides and bottom of a tube pan with 2 tablespoons margarine.
- Sprinkle bottom of pan with 3 tablespoons of the nuts.
- Set aside.
- In a small pan, melt the 1/2 cup of margarine; add brown sugar, water and nuts.
- Heat to boiling, stirring often.
- Remove from heat.
- Cut each biscuit in half and roll into a ball.
- Place 20 balls in tube pan; sprinkle on some nuts and half of the sugar sauce.
- Make a second layer, repeating the same process.
- Bake at 375u0b0 for 20 to 25 minutes until golden brown.
- When baked, invert pan immediately onto a large plate, allowing pan to remain over buns for a few moments to allow all the sauce to drip onto buns.
- Remove pan.
- Serve warm.
