Hawaiian Pork(Sweet And Sour)

  1. Brown pork in Crisco.
  2. Add water; cover and cook 1 hour over low heat.
  3. Combine cornstarch, salt, sugar, vinegar, pineapple juice and soy sauce in a saucepan and cook, stirring constantly, until slightly thickened.
  4. Pour sauce over hot pork.
  5. Allow to stand 10 minutes.
  6. Stir in green pepper, onion and pineapple. Cook about 5 minutes.
  7. Serve over hot rice.
  8. Makes 6 servings.
