Coconut Cream Pie

  1. In saucepan, combine sugar, flour and salt.
  2. Gradually stir in milk.
  3. Cook and stir over medium heat until bubbly.
  4. Cook and stir 2 minutes.
  5. Remove from heat.
  6. Stir small amount hot mixture into yolks; immediately return to hot mixture.
  7. Cook 2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  8. Remove from heat.
  9. Add butter, vanilla and coconut flavoring.
  10. Pour into cooled baked pastry shell.
  11. Spread margarine on pie; sprinkle with coconut.
  12. Bake at 350u0b0 for 10 to 12 minutes.
