Marinated Green Bean Bundles
- 3 cans (15 oz.) whole green beans
- 14 to 16 strips lean bacon, cut in half
- 1 c. brown sugar, packed
- 1 c. butter (2 sticks), melted
- 1/2 tsp. garlic salt
- 3 to 4 dashes soy sauce (about 1 tsp.)
- Rinse beans; drain in
- colander.
- Secure
- 9 to 10 beans with 1/2 strip bacon and
- a round toothpick.
- Place bundles in an oblong Pyrex or 9 x
- 13-inch
- pan
- (a
- single layer).
- Make marinade of melted butter,
- brown
- sugar,
- garlic salt and soy sauce.
- Spoon marinade over each bundle (use all of marinade). Cover
- with foil and
- refrigerate
- overnight.
- Bring
- to
- room temperature and bake uncovered at
- 350u0b0
- for 25 to 30 minutes. Bacon should look cooked.

- in two pans.) Yields 28 to 32.
