Favorite Spaghetti Sauce

  1. Brown meat in oil with onion and green pepper.
  2. Drain off any grease (can use all Italian sausage if desired).
  3. Add seasonings and cook briefly until it flavors the meat.
  4. Add tomato sauce (adjust to own desired thickness, rinse cans with little water and add to sauce).
  5. When heated through and boiling, add brown sugar to taste.
  6. Adjust seasonings if necessary.
  7. Cook on low for 1 to 2 hours.
  8. Serve over spaghetti or use as sauce for lasagna.
  9. Freezes well.
