Grandma'S Lasagna

  1. Brown hamburger; drain.
  2. Add tomato sauce, tomato paste (rinse cans with a little water), parsley flakes, basil, oregano, sugar and salt.
  3. Bring to boil; turn down and simmer with lid on for 30 to 45 minutes.
  4. Stir occasionally.
  5. Beat egg and add to cottage cheese.
  6. Sprinkle with pepper.
  7. Cook noodles.
  8. Add vegetable oil and salt to water.
  9. (This will keep noodles from breaking.) Line bottom of 9 x 13-inch glass dish with 2 to 3 tablespoons of hamburger mixture.
  10. Place 3 noodles on top.
  11. Then add 1/2 of hamburger mixture.
  12. Put 1/2 of cottage cheese on top of hamburger. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.
  13. Top with Mozzarella cheese. Repeat layers.
  14. Cover with aluminum foil.
  15. Bake at 350u0b0 for 20 to 30 minutes or until cheese melts.
