Barbecued Sirloin Roast

  1. Sprinkle both sides of roast with monosodium glutamate.
  2. Place in a shallow baking dish.
  3. Thoroughly combine vinegar, catsup, cooking oil, soy sauce, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, salt, pepper and garlic powder.
  4. Pour mixture over roast and marinate for 2 to 3 hours, turning once or twice.
  5. Place roast on grill or broiler pan for about 45 minutes to an hour, turning and basting every 10 to 15 minutes.
  6. Serves 6 to 8.
