Ham, Cheese & Broccoli Fondue
- 7 slices white bread
- 2 Tbsp. butter
- 1/2 lb. grated sharp Cheddar cheese
- 1 pkg. frozen broccoli, cooked and drained
- 5 eggs, beaten
- 3 c. milk
- 2 Tbsp. grated onion
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 tsp. dry mustard
- Make a doughnut from each bread slice by using 2 different sized round cutters. Butter doughnut and hole pieces and set aside. Place the crusts and scraps of bread in the bottom of an 8 x 12-inch casserole. Sprinkle cheese over bread. Add a layer of broccoli, then ham. Arrange doughnuts and holes on top. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over. Cover and refrigerate at least 6 hours or overnight. Preheat oven to 325u0b0 and bake uncovered for about 50 minutes or until set and brown. Remove from oven and allow to set 10 minutes before serving. Let it set in refrigerator before freezing.
