Holiday Liver Pat
- 8-ounces liverwurst (use the best you can find)
- 1 pkg. (8-oz.) cream cheese, softened
- 1/3 c. finely chopped onion
- 2 to 3 Tbsp. sour cream
- 1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp. hot pepper sauce (optional)
- Stuffed green olives for garnish
- Mix liverwurst, half of the cream cheese, onion, sour cream, Worcestershire sauce and hot pepper sauce.
- Combine well.
- Form a mound of pate in the center of a serving dish; place in the freezer for 15 minutes.
- Frost with the remaining cream cheese.
- Slice a few stuffed olives with pimentos so the green is a circle on the outside with the red pimento on the inside.
- Arrange them on the outside of the mound as a garnish.
- Serve anytime (not just for holidays) with low-carb crackers and veggies.
