Chex After-School Mix(Microwave)

• 9 c. your favorite Chex brand cereal (Corn, Rice and/or Wheat)
• 1 c. semi-sweet chocolate pieces
• 1/2 c. peanut butter
• 1/4 c. (1/2 stick) margarine or butter
• 1/4 tsp. vanilla
• 1 1/2 c. powdered sugar

1. Place cereals in
2. large
3. bowl;
4. set
5. aside.
6. In 1 quart microwavesafe bowl,
7. combine
8. chocolate
9. pieces, peanut butter and margarine.
10. Microwave on
11. High 1 to 1 1/2 minutes or until smooth, stirring after one minute; stir in vanilla.
12. Pour over cereals, stirring until
13. all
14. pieces are evenly coated.
15. Place cereal mixture and sugar in large paper or plastic bag;
16. shake until all pieces are
17. well
18. coated.
19. Spread
20. on waxed paper to cool.
21. Store in airtight container.
