Old-Fashioned Pecan Pie

  1. Heat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. Mix flour, cinnamon and nutmeg.
  3. Set aside.
  4. Beat eggs until lemon colored (about 3 minutes).
  5. Beating well after each ingredient, add these to egg in order given: sugar, vanilla, clear syrup and cane syrup.
  6. Next add flour mixture alternately with orange juice, then add orange peel and pecans.
  7. Pour in uncooked pie crust and cook at 350u0b0 for 10 minutes.
  8. Reduce heat to 280u0b0.
  9. Cook 30 to 45 minutes until nice and fluffy.
  10. Similar to custard or pudding.
