Chinese Not Fried Rice

  1. Coat a medium saucepan with cooking spray.
  2. Place over medium heat until hot.
  3. Add onion and saute 2 minutes or until tender. Add chicken broth and soy sauce, cooking wine, sesame oil and hot sauce; bring to a boil.
  4. Stir in rice, cover, reduce heat and simmer 25 minutes or until rice is tender and liquid is absorbed. Remove from heat.
  5. Stir in green onion and pine nuts.
  6. Yield: 6 servings.
