Chocolate-Hazelnut Cookies
- 3/4 c. butter, softened
- 1 c. granulated sugar
- 1 c. brown sugar
- 1 (13 oz.) jar chocolate-hazelnut spread
- 1 oz. unsweetened chocolate, melted and cooled
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 2 eggs
- 2 1/2 c. all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp. cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. baking powder
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1 c. semi sweet chocolate pieces
- 1 c. chopped toasted and skinned hazelnuts
- 5 oz. white chocolate baking square, melted
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Beat butter and sugars; add chocolate-hazelnut spread and chocolate. Add vanilla; beat. Add eggs. Combine flour, cinnamon, soda, baking powder and salt. Stir in any remaining flour. Stir in chocolate pieces and hazelnuts. Drop 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes. Drizzle cooled cookies with white chocolate. Let stand until chocolate is set.
