Pear Mincemeat Pie

  1. Combine all ingredients, except pastry shells, in a non-aluminum stock pot; bring to a boil. Cook, uncovered, over low heat 2 hours or until thickened, stirring occasionally.
  2. Pour 4 cups filling into each pastry shell. Bake at 425u0b0 for 40 minutes. Cool before slicing.
