Marla Brown'S Fast And Easy Lasagna(Easy)
- 2 c. elbow macaroni
- 2 lb. Ricotta cheese
- 3 eggs
- salt and pepper (optional)
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan or Romano cheese
- basil, chopped parsley or Italian seasoning
- 1/2 lb. thin sliced or grated Mozzarella cheese
- 1 c. spaghetti sauce (or more if desired)
- 1/2 lb. Italian sausage, ground beef, cooked chicken, cut up (optional)
- Boil the macaroni in water until cooked but still stiff. Drain.
- In the lasagna baking pan, combine the Ricotta cheese, eggs, salt and pepper, grated Parmesan or Romano and seasoning and mix well.
- Add and mix in the drained cooked macaroni and spread evenly in the baking dish.
- Layer the Mozzarella over the macaroni mixture.
- Sprinkle spaghetti sauce on top and add meat (if desired).
- Bake 30 minutes in a 375u0b0 oven.
- Take out, cool a few minutes and serve.
- If it is still very liquid, bake a few more minutes to set.
- Can be frozen and reheated (covered).
