Irresistible Peanut Butter Cookies And Chocolate Stars

• 3/4 c. creamy peanut butter
• 1/2 c. Crisco shortening
• 1 1/4 c. firmly packed light brown sugar
• 3 Tbsp. milk
• 1 Tbsp. vanilla
• 1 egg
• 1 3/4 c. all-purpose flour
• 3/4 tsp. salt
• 3/4 tsp. baking soda
• 1 pkg. chocolate stars

1. Combine peanut butter, shortening, brown sugar, milk and vanilla in large bowl.
2. Beat at medium speed with electric mixer until blended.
3. Add egg; blend.
4. Combine flour, salt and baking soda.
5. Add to cream mixture at low speed.
6. Mix just until blended. Roll into 1 1/2-inch balls.
7. Roll in sugar and depress top with spoon slightly.
8. Place chocolate star in center.
9. Press down slightly.
10. Bake 7 minutes or until golden brown at 375u0b0.
