  1. Let the yeast melt in the warm water.
  2. Mix all the ingredients.
  3. Save about 4 cups of the flour for later.
  4. With electric beater, beat eggs, sugar and salt.
  5. Add milk and lard. Add flour until it makes a nice dough.
  6. Let rise in a warm place until double in size.
  7. Punch down with floured hands and let rise again.
  8. Flour hands and form into small loaves in pan (15 x 15-inch).
  9. Let rise again, then bake at 350u0b0 until light brown. Take out and let cool and then pull or cut loaves apart, then put back into pan to dry in a 300u0b0 oven; do not burn.
  10. Can be frozen or stored in a closed container.
