Chicken 'N' Dumplings

  1. In covered pot fill halfway with water, let boil.
  2. Add chicken (parboil), don't overcook.
  3. Put chicken aside to cool (debone). Should have 1/2 pot hot water.
  4. Add onion, pepper, celery, poultry seasoning, packages and cubes of broth.
  5. Cook until celery is done. Add cornstarch (mix with water to make paste).
  6. Cook 5 to 10 minutes to a gravy-like state.
  7. Add potatoes.
  8. Cook 10 minutes. Add chicken.
  9. Cook approximately 15 minutes.
  10. Add carrots, 5 minutes.
  11. Shut off.
  12. Add peas.
  13. Place in oven (large casserole dish or lasagne pan).
