Cheesy Sausage Quiche
- 3/4 lb. sausage links or crumbled
- 1/2 c. onion, chopped
- 1/3 c. green pepper, chopped
- 1 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese, grated
- 1 Tbsp. flour
- 1 deep dish pie crust
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 c. cream or half and half
- 1 Tbsp. parsley flakes
- 3/4 tsp. seasoned salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- Preheat oven to 375u0b0.
- In medium skillet, fry sausage until cooked.
- Remove sausage; drain on paper towel.
- Reserve 2 tablespoons fat.
- Saute onion and pepper in reserved fat 2 to 3 minutes.
- Combine cheese and flour.
- Stir in sausage, green pepper and onion.
- Spread in pie crust shell.
- Mix remaining ingredients and pour in pie shell.
- Bake on cookie sheet 35 to 40 minutes or until browned and filling is set.
- Cut in wedges like pie.
