Grandma'S Casserole
- 8 tsp. diet butter
- 1 c. each: chopped onion and celery
- 1 green pepper, sliced in thin strips
- 16 oz. (1 lb.) ground turkey
- 1 tsp. season salt
- 1/2 tsp. pepper
- pinch of each: oregano and garlic salt
- 2 packets Equal sweetener (optional)
- 1 c. fresh mushrooms
- 16 chopped green or black olives
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomatoes, drained and chopped
- 2 c. water
- Saute mushrooms, onion, celery, olives and green pepper in butter.
- Add turkey and remaining ingredients and simmer for 15 minutes.
- Spoon a small amount of sauce into a sprayed 9 x 13-inch pan.
- Top with 8 ounces uncooked noodles.
- Cover with remaining sauce and top with 8 ounces grated Mozzarella cheese.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 45 minutes.
- Let stand for 15 minutes before cutting.
