Cheesy Orzo

  1. Prepare orzo pasta according to package directions; drain. Meanwhile, in small saucepan, saute onion in margarine for 5 minutes, until translucent.
  2. Stir in flour and salt; cook 1 minute.
  3. Gradually stir in milk and thyme.
  4. Cook, stirring constantly, until mixture thickens.
  5. Reduce heat to low; stir in Parmesan cheese.
  6. Continue cooking 3 to 4 minutes, until cheese melts.
  7. Stir orzo into cheese sauce.
  8. Garnish with Parmesan cheese curls and thyme sprig.
