Peanut Butter Temptations
- 1/2 c. butter or margarine
- 1/2 c. peanut butter
- 1/2 c. sugar
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1/2 tsp. vanilla
- 1 1/4 c. flour
- 3/4 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 40 mini chocolate covered peanut butter cups
- 1 c. butter
- 1 1/2 c. sugar
- 4 eggs, beaten
- 2 c. flour
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 tsp. lemon or orange extract
- 1 (1 lb. 5 oz.) can cherry pie filling
- Cream butter and sugar.
- Add beaten eggs and flour.
- Add extract; blend well.
- Spread batter in a 15 1/2 x 10 1/2 x 1-inch loaf pan.
- Cut surface of batter to make 24 squares.
- Spoon filling in center of each square.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 45 minutes.
- Cut into squares.
- Sprinkle top with powdered sugar.
- Cool and remove squares from pan.
