Disappearing Marshmallow Brownies

  1. Greasetottom and sides of a 9-inch square baking pan. Melt butterscotch pieces and butter in a 3-quart heavy saucepantver medium heat, stirring constantly.
  2. Remove from heat; cool
  3. to lukewarm.
  4. Add
  5. flour,
  6. brown
  7. sugar, baking powder, salt, vanilla and egg to the butterscotch mixture;
  8. mix well. Fold marshmallows,
  9. semi-sweet chocolate pieces and nuts into butterscotch
  10. batter
  11. justtntil
  12. combined,
  13. about 5 strokes. Spread
  14. intrepared
  15. pan.take at 350u0b0 for 20 to 25 minutes. Do not overbake.
  16. Center will be jiggly but becomes firm upon cooling.
  17. Makes 12 to 18 bars.
