Overnight Green Salad
- 1 head lettuce, medium size
- 1/2 c. green onions, chopped
- 1 c. celery, thinly sliced
- 1 c. water chestnuts, drained and sliced
- 1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
- 2 c. mayonnaise
- 2 Tbsp. sugar
- 1/2 c. Parmesan cheese
- 1 Tbsp. seasoned salt
- 1/4 Tbsp. garlic salt
- 3 eggs, hard-boiled
- 1/2 lb. bacon, fried and crumbled
- 2 tomatoes, cut in wedges
- Shred lettuce, place in shallow 4-quart size dish.
- Top with onion, celery and chestnuts.
- Break apart frozen peas; sprinkle over greens.
- Add mayonnaise, sugar, cheese, salt and garlic salt. Cover and chill in refrigerator overnight.
- Before serving, slice boiled eggs and decorate salad.
- Add crumbled bacon bits and tomatoes.
