Overnight Green Salad

  1. Shred lettuce, place in shallow 4-quart size dish.
  2. Top with onion, celery and chestnuts.
  3. Break apart frozen peas; sprinkle over greens.
  4. Add mayonnaise, sugar, cheese, salt and garlic salt. Cover and chill in refrigerator overnight.
  5. Before serving, slice boiled eggs and decorate salad.
  6. Add crumbled bacon bits and tomatoes.
