Elegant Party Cake
- 1 pkg. yellow cake mix
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. instant vanilla pudding
- 1 c. milk
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
- 9 oz. nondairy whipped topping or 8 oz. Cool Whip
- 20 oz. can crushed pineapple
- 1 can coconut
- crushed walnuts
- cherries
- Prepare cake as directed on package.
- Pour batter onto floured cookie sheet with sides.
- Bake for 15 minutes at 350u0b0.
- Set aside. Cool 5 minutes.
- Dissolve pudding with milk and set aside.
- Cream the cheese.
- Add whipped topping and beat.
- Add pudding and beat again.
- Mixture should be the consistency of whipped cream. Spread mixture over cooled cake.
- Drain pineapple well and spread over pudding mixture, then sprinkle with coconut and crushed walnuts.
- Put cherry in each square (30 squares).
