Easy Does It Lasagna
- 1 lb. ground beef
- 1 (16 oz.) can tomato sauce
- 2 tsp. Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp. oregano
- 1 tsp. salt
- 1 tsp. onion flakes
- 16 oz. cottage cheese
- 8 oz. plain yogurt
- 1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 Tbsp. garlic and chives seasoning
- 1/2 lb. lasagna noodles
- 8 oz. sliced Mozzarella cheese
- 1 c. water
- Brown and drain ground beef in medium saucepan.
- Stir in tomato
- sauce,
- Italian
- seasoning,
- oregano,
- salt
- and
- onion flakes; set
- aside.
- Mix
- cottage
- cheese
- and
- yogurt.
- Spread about 1 cup tomato
- mixture
- in 11 x 7 x 1 1/2-inch baking pan. Combine Parmesan cheese and garlic and chives seasoning.
- Layer a third
- each
- of
- noodles, cottage cheese mixture, Mozzarella, remaining tomato
- mixture
- and Parmesan mixture;
- repeat twice. Pour in water around sides of pan.
- Cover tightly with foil and bake at 350u0b0 for 1 hour and 10 minutes.
- Remove foil and bake 8 to 10 minutes
- longer
- or
- until
- noodles are tender and top is golden.
- Let
- stand
- 20
- minutes before serving.
- Makes 8 servings.
