Stir-Fry Shredded Beef A La Henry

  1. Sprinkle beef with 2 teaspoons oil, sherry, cornstarch, baking soda, soy sauce and sugar.
  2. Set aside for 30 minutes.
  3. Heat 3 tablespoons oil in pan and add 3/4 teaspoon salt.
  4. Stir in onion and stir-fry 2 minutes. Add green peppers and fry for 2 minutes. Remove from pan.
  5. Heat remaining 3 tablespoons oil in same pan. Add beef.
  6. Stir-fry until color changes.
  7. Add a pinch of ground pepper and return vegetables to pan.
  8. Mix well and stir-fry for 1 minute.
