Crock Pot Pork Chops, Sweet Potatoes, Apples
- 2 cans condensed golden mushroom soup
- 1/2 cup water
- 1 tablespoon packed brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon worchestershire sauce
- 1 teaspoon dried basil leaves crushed
- 8 boneless pork chops 3/4" thick
- 4 medium sweet potatoes sliced
- 3-4 Granny Smith or tart apples sliced
- 1 large onion sliced
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- Stir the soup, water, brown sugar, Worcestershire and basil together.
- Sprinkle pork chops with a little garlic powder & basil. If need to stack chops place some onion between them, then on top of chops.
- Next layer potatoes then apples. Pour soup mixture over all then sprinkle apples with cinnamon & a little brown sugar
- Cover and cook on LOW for 8-9 hours or on high 4-5 hours or until the pork is cooked through.
- Oven method: Preheat to 400 degrees F. In large dutch oven or deep 9x9 covered dish. Layer potatoes on bottom then 1/2 the onion. Cover with 1/2 soup mix. Layer chops sprinkled top with a little garlic powder & basil, rest of onion & soup mix. Layer apples & sprinkle with cinnamon & brown sugar. Bake 1-1 1/2 hours or until pork is done.
