Double Cruncher Cookie
- 1 c. flour
- 1/2 tsp. baking soda
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 1/2 c. shortening
- 1/2 c. granulated sugar
- 1/2 c. brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1 c. crushed corn flakes
- 1 c. quick cooking rolled oats
- 1/2 c. coconut
- Mix flour, salt and baking soda; set aside.
- Combine shortening and sugars.
- Beat until creamy.
- Blend in eggs and vanilla.
- Stir in flour mixture and add other ingredients. Reserve 1/3 dough.
- Shape remaining dough into balls using teaspoon.
- Place on cookie sheet.
- Flatten with glass bottom dipped in flour.
- Bake at 350u0b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
- Shape remaining dough into balls, using 1/2 amount for each ball as first time.
- Flatten and bake as before.
- Cool on wax paper.
