Double Cruncher Cookie

  1. Mix flour, salt and baking soda; set aside.
  2. Combine shortening and sugars.
  3. Beat until creamy.
  4. Blend in eggs and vanilla.
  5. Stir in flour mixture and add other ingredients. Reserve 1/3 dough.
  6. Shape remaining dough into balls using teaspoon.
  7. Place on cookie sheet.
  8. Flatten with glass bottom dipped in flour.
  9. Bake at 350u0b0 for 8 to 10 minutes.
  10. Shape remaining dough into balls, using 1/2 amount for each ball as first time.
  11. Flatten and bake as before.
  12. Cool on wax paper.
