Breakfast Pie
- 1/2 lb. bulk pork sausage, cooked and drained
- 1 (12 oz.) carton creamed cottage cheese
- 1 c. (4 oz.) shredded Cheddar cheese
- 1 (3 oz.) pkg. cream cheese, softened
- 2 eggs
- 1 c. biscuit mix
- 1/4 c. chopped green onions
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1/4 c. milk
- 1 Tbsp. sesame seed, toasted
- Combine first 5 ingredients; set aside.
- Combine biscuit mix and onions in a small bowl.
- Combine 2 eggs and milk; pour into biscuit mix.
- Stir only until mixture is moistened.
- Spoon half the batter into a greased 9-inch pie plate.
- Spoon on cheese mixture.
- Top with remaining batter.
- Sprinkle with toasted sesame seed.
- Bake at 375u0b0 for 30 to 35 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean.
- Let stand 5 minutes before cutting.
