Pork Chops And Potato Combo

  1. Heat oven to 350u0b0.
  2. Cook pork chops in shortening until brown; sprinkle with salt.
  3. Heat water to boiling in 3-quart saucepan. Stir in remaining ingredients; heat to boiling.
  4. Pour into ungreased 13 x 9 x 2-inch pan.
  5. Place pork chops on top.
  6. Cover with foil.
  7. Bake 1 hour.
  8. Remove foil; bake until pork chops are done, 10 to 15 minutes longer.
  9. Let stand 5 minutes before serving.
