Mock Chicken Casserole
- 8 flour tacos
- 3 cans mushroom soup
- 1 c. milk
- 4 oz. can green diced mild chiles
- 1 c. (2.8 oz.) French fried onions
- 1/4 tsp. garlic powder
- 2 Tbsp. McKay's chicken seasoning
- 2 cans medium fry chick, cut up or broken into small pieces, save juice for future use
- grated Mozzarella cheese
- grated American cheese
- Saute tacos, drain on paper towel.
- In large bowl mix next 7 ingredients.
- Break tacos into smaller pieces like potato chips. Cover bottom of casserole with broken tacos, spoon mixture over broken tacos.
- Grate Mozzarella cheese over mixture, layer until all of mixture is used.
- Top with grated American cheese.
- Bake, uncovered, in 350u0b0 oven 50 to 60 minutes.
- If you wish you can make casserole the day before and keep covered in refrigerator until baking time.
- Remove lid to bake.
