Traditional No-Bake Pumpkin Pie

  1. In a small bowl, blend milk, egg, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and salt; set aside.
  2. In medium saucepan, sprinkle unflavored gelatine over water.
  3. Let it stand 1 minute.
  4. Stir over low heat until gelatine is completely dissolved, about 2 minutes.
  5. Blend in milk mixture.
  6. Continue stirring over low heat until mixture is slightly thickened, about 5 minutes.
  7. Blend in pumpkin.
  8. Turn into prepared crust; chill until firm.
  9. Garnish, if desired, with whipped cream. Serves 8.
