Ham And Cheese Lasagne
- 6 lasagne noodles
- 1/4 c. chopped onions
- 1/4 c. chopped green pepper
- 2 Tbsp. margarine
- 3 Tbsp. all-purpose flour
- 1 3/4 c. milk
- 1 c. shredded Swiss cheese (4 oz.)
- 2 c. finely chopped fully cooked ham
- 1 (3 oz.) can chopped mushrooms, drained
- paprika
- Cook lasagne noodles in boiling salted water just until tender, 15 to 20 minutes.
- Drain.
- Rinse with cold water; drain.
- In medium saucepan, cook onion and green peppers in margarine until tender; blend in flour.
- Add milk all at once.
- Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly.
- Stir in Swiss cheese until melted.
- Stir in ham and mushrooms.
- Arrange half the noodles in greased 10 x 6 x 2-inch baking dish.
- Spread with half the ham mixture.
- Repeat layers.
- Sprinkle with paprika.
- Bake about 25 minutes.
- Let stand 15 minutes before serving.
- Serve 6.
