Ham 'N' Swiss Loaf(In Honor Of Fern Hedgewood)

  1. Set aside 1 cup flour; mix remaining 3 cups flour, sugar, salt and yeast.
  2. Heat water, mustard and margarine to 125u0b0 to 130u0b0; stir into flour mixture.
  3. Mix in enough reserved flour to make soft dough.
  4. Knead 4 minutes.
  5. On greased baking sheet, roll dough to 14 x 12-inches.
  6. Sprinkle ham, cheese and pickle down center third of dough length.
  7. Make cuts from filling to dough edges at 1-inch intervals along sides of filling.
  8. Bring strips from opposite sides of filling together; twist and place ends at an angle across filling; cover.
