Guatemalan 7 Layer Dip
- 1 regular can of refried beans
- 1 can of black beans, drained
- 1 pkg. taco seasoning
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup of salsa
- 1 - 4 oz. can green chiles, diced
- 2 Tbsp. jalapenos, diced
- 1 cup shredded cheese
- 2 large green onions, chopped
- 1 bag of tortilla chips
- Preheat oven to 375 F. In a medium bowl, combine refried beans, black beans, and taco seasoning, mix. Spread bean mixture in an ungreased 8 inch square covered baking dish. Spread sour cream over bean mixture. Top with salsa, chiles, jalapenos, and cheese, cover dish. Bake for 20 minutes, uncover and bake an additional 10 minutes or until cheese is melted and dip is starting to bubble up. Garnish with green onions. Serve with tortilla chips. Serves 10.
