Quick Dinner Rolls

  1. Dissolve
  2. yeast
  3. in
  4. 3/4 cup warm water; set aside.
  5. In large mixing
  6. bowl
  7. combine
  8. warm
  9. milk and water.
  10. Add salt, sugar
  11. and oil; mix well.
  12. Add flour, yeast and water mixture; mix
  13. well. Knead
  14. it
  15. with
  16. your hands.
  17. Coat your hands with shortening
  18. to knead
  19. the
  20. dough.
  21. Wet a towel in cold water; wring it
  22. out good. Cover dough.
  23. Set in a warm place and let stand for
  24. 1
  25. hour. Push it down; let it stand for 10 minutes more.
  26. Make your rolls or loaves.
  27. Cover and let stand in warm place
  28. until
  29. double
  30. in size.
  31. Bake in prewarmed oven at 240u0b0 for 20 minutes or until done.
