Quick Dinner Rolls
- 1 pkg. yeast
- 3/4 c. warm water
- 2 c. warm milk
- 2 c. cold water
- 2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 c. sugar
- 1/4 c. oil
- 6 c. flour
- Dissolve
- yeast
- in
- 3/4 cup warm water; set aside.
- In large mixing
- bowl
- combine
- warm
- milk and water.
- Add salt, sugar
- and oil; mix well.
- Add flour, yeast and water mixture; mix
- well. Knead
- it
- with
- your hands.
- Coat your hands with shortening
- to knead
- the
- dough.
- Wet a towel in cold water; wring it
- out good. Cover dough.
- Set in a warm place and let stand for
- 1
- hour. Push it down; let it stand for 10 minutes more.
- Make your rolls or loaves.
- Cover and let stand in warm place
- until
- double
- in size.
- Bake in prewarmed oven at 240u0b0 for 20 minutes or until done.
