Fishman'S Wharf Cioppino
- 1 (13 oz.) can solid white tuna
- 1 (10 oz.) can whole clams
- 2 large cloves garlic, pressed
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1 green pepper, seeded and chopped
- 1/4 lb. fresh mushrooms, sliced
- 3 Tbsp. chopped parsley
- 1/4 c. olive oil
- 1 (28 oz.) can whole tomatoes, chopped
- 1 (8 oz.) bottle clam juice
- 1 chicken bouillon cube, crumbled
- 2 c. dry red wine
- 1/3 c. tomato paste
- 1 tsp. oregano, crumbled
- 1 tsp. sugar
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/4 tsp. pepper
- 1 (6 oz.) pkg. frozen baby shrimp, thawed
- Salt green peppers and onions; stir-fry in frypan.
- Put pork and juice in pan or pot.
- Use fresh sauerkraut.
- Cook 2 or 3 white potatoes separately.
- When done, cut in cubes; mix all together. Let simmer about 30 minutes.
- Use other seasonings if you wish.
